I prefer using stable release versions ... but when I have a dev version installed downgrading to stable is rarely an option.

When for example I have Search API Autocomplete 7.x-1.4+4-dev (2016-Jan-09) I'd welcome a recommended 1.5 release when it's available ... but prefer not to be distracted by a downgrade to the unpatched 1.4 version.

With D10 now out going to putting all the focus on the 4.x version of this
module supporting D9 + D10.

Will keep an on the 7.x-2.x branch for reviews but no active work will
probably happen
