Looking to create a group in Des Moines, Iowa since the closest user group is in Ames, and can be a drive on a weeknight. I'm hoping to connect Drupal users in the area to share their Drupal knowledge with each other on a monthly basis.

+1 for groups. If you grow, you can unite with the Ames group and join forces! It will help if you can get others to join the group since you are the only one at the moment.
