I am trying to install Drupal on localhost MAMP as I cannot install it on my server or on a windows machine
I get the error:
Failed to connect to your database server. The server reports the following message: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1044] Access denied for user ''@'localhost' to database 'drupal'.
Is the database server running?
Does the database exist or does the database user have sufficient privileges to create the database?
Have you entered the correct database name?
Have you entered the correct username and password?
Have you entered the correct database hostname?
Please help, I have setup a database called Drupal, I have also created a new DB user and password

It seems, newly created user does not have all privileges. Make sure it has.
