When you are in a View page at Format > Display/show > Fields > Parameters, you have a checkbox to "Provide default field wrapper elements" and just under the option to set inline fields. The two options "provide field wrappers" and "define inline fields" don't seem to be related and, indeed, they aren't. Although, if you uncheck "provide field wrappers" you can no more access to "inline fields options" because they are hidden but what you have previously defined as inline fields still display as such except that you have no more access to their settings (see attached screenshot). I don't think this is the expected behavior.
If the inline fields should continue to be considered as inline we should have access to their definition whatever the option "provide field wrappers" is.

Will need a test case to show the issue. Tagging for that.
Will need screenshots added to the issue summary + proposed solution. Should follow the git history and see when that code was added to see why it was added and if a mistake was made.
Thanks.
