At the moment, if you change a Details group config under Manage Display to 'Default state open' (and AJAX Update) then go to another Details group config and also change it to 'Default state open' (and AJAX Update) the 1st one reverts to 'Default state closed'.

To get it to work, one has to use the main Manage Display Save button after each and every local Details group change, which is pretty tedious for a complex content type with many groups.

I am reasonably sure this was not so under D7, so I am reporting this as a bug for now.
