Hello,
I had Atrium 2.5 and upgraded it to 2.61 (running on Pantheon). First, the modern theme was really broken - had to manually enable Atrium Layout modules (should be stated somewhere? Or something went wrong?)
Anyways, resolved this, but currently am facing another issue - on clean installation, there is button to directly edit node and return from editing to show the node. This is missing on upgraded version and cannot find it anywhere to enable. Think I got through all the settings and it's same on both versions.

The oa_layout module is enabled by default in Atrium so your site must have disabled it for some reason. The edit button bar in the lower-right is part of the oa_site_layout_defaults module that is enabled by the link given above.
