I'm interested in taking over the ownership of the Goals module.

Using the contact form on D.O, I have contacted (on April 1, 2016) the current owner (Scott Weston) about this proposal. Here is a quote from my message then:

Hello Scott,

I noticed that the (great!) Goals module (https://www.drupal.org/project/goals) has status "Seeking new maintainer".
I'm interested in becoming its new maintainer. If you agree, just send me a short eMail confirmation message about that and I'll take care of the administrative "tasks" (oeps!) to complete the "goal" (oeps!) of becoming its new maintainer.

Just FYI: I recently became the new maintainer (also) for the "Answers" module (https://www.drupal.org/project/answers). Have a look at its "demo site" (link on project page) to get an idea about it. And the Goals module seems like a perfect complement to the Answers module also. One of my near future plans is to also publish the "DrupalAnswers" distribution (same
machine name) to bundle them together (with some other related modules to it also).

Looking forward to your reply,
Pierre Vriens

That resulted in this additional feedback/reply:

Hi Pierre,

I've added you as a maintainer of the Goals module! Thanks for you interest in keeping the project alive! :)

Best,
Scott

I then responded back (on April 4, 2016) with this reply

=== start ===
Hello Scott,

thank you for adding me as a co-maintainer.

However, hope you don't mind I ask, but would it be OK for you to become a 'co-maintainer', and make me the new 'maintainer'? Please refer to the subject in my prior msg, which was like so: Proposal to become the new maintainer of "Goals". And which would also match with what the current project status indicates (= "seeking new maintainer", not "seeking co-maintainers"). If not, can you clarify a bit what your own plans/ambitions with this module are today?

If that's OK for you, I'd be happy to take care of the admin-work to get this changed on D.O.

Kind regards,
Pierre

Which in the end resulted in this answer from Scott (on April 4, 2016):

=== start ===

I don't mind at all. :)

Please complete the remaining steps to get this maintainer-transfer completed.

Thank you in advance,
Pierre

PS: Of course the appropriate credits go to the former (co-) maintainers (which I will indicate accordingly on the project page and/or README.txt.
