Hello everybody,

I'm not sure where to take this. If there is a better place to ask this question please advise me, thanks!

I have a Commerce Kickstart site where a number of module updates were due. Their installation went alright, but the update script (which had 11 pending updates) threw me a fairly nondescript error:

"An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP Result Code: 500 Debugging information follows. Path: [long url] StatusText: Internal Server Error ResponseText: " - and that's it.

The error page that I was directed to afterwards said: "The update process was aborted prematurely while running update #7106 in commerce_discount.module. All errors have been logged. You may need to check the watchdog database table manually."

Now there are 10 pending updates left, the error reliably reoccurs, and I am at a loss. An internet search for either error doesn't turn up anything helpful. What do I do?

Really grateful for any and all advice!
Anna~

I had a similar issue which was resolved by enabling the commerce discount module before running update.php.

Hello there, many many thanks for your reply! You may be on to something here - I just tried it and I cannot enable that module. I switch it to on, click save, then it just goes back to the module list and commerce_discount is listed as switched off again.

... Any ideas, anyone?

it's specific enough that I'd research the issue queue of the modules in question. If no already existing issue exists, I'd create one.
