Hi,

I need to hide a field to the anonymous users.

I hesitate between two solutions: the module field permissions, or simply a modifcation of the node template by a condition of the type : if $logged_in...

What is the safest / recommended solution (who guarantees that the user will have no access to the field by any way) ?

According to me field permissions not render the fields which you want to hide,and to work with node template make some more effort with same solution.
