In the D7 version of this module one could view saved backups via the module's UI. This feature does appear to exist in the D8 version. I can saved a manual backup to the server, but I can't find a list of saved backups. I can of course access this via SFTP, but it would be nice to be able to download those backups via the UI. I am just trying to understand whether this is an intentional change to the UI.

This feature is available in 8.x-4.x-alpha2. You will need to specify a directory for the list to show up under the tab "saved backups," otherwise, the quick backup feature will go to the local "Downloads" file. Also see this related issue: Can't Download, Restore, or Delete Saved Backups
