What is the full procedure to upgrade existing subtheme to 5.6 if using the latest Compass as well? I see the Sass folder README has been updated to include the bundle command instructions, but for that to work we need to copy the Gemfile to our subtheme folder. Anything else?

Hi portulaca

This issue is a good place to start when reading about the issues of using later versions of compass with Zen: https://www.drupal.org/node/2400195 (and the issue(s) linked to from it).

What I did was re-write the _responsive.scss file to be able to work with zen grids. I'm attaching the file I use - be careful as it's heavily modified (and uses 12 grid columns instead of 5). Please compare this against the default file and feel free to take what works for you and leave the rest.

Zen 7.x-5.6 was built with the old version of compass. Zen 7.x-6.x does not use Compass.

So there won't be any official instructions on how to update to the newer Compass.
