Not displaying the graph lines or other graphic data displays

Charts created using the Chart content type do not display the graph lines or other graphic data displays. When in edit mode everything works fine, chart displays correctly in the edit view. However after saving and in view mode the graph lines or other graphic data displays disappear. The axis, plot region, background and other chart attributes are there, but not the graphed data display. With some templates it will display “No data to display”. When reentering edit mode the chart template is gone, and has not been saved. This occurs for me in both the 7.3.5 and 7.3x dev versions using firefox 44.0.2 and safari. 9.0.3.
