Hi guys, I am pretty interesting in Workbench into Drupal 8, If I am not mistaken there is not initiative to get it ready, if so please forward me in correct path, otherwise I would like to help code any feature in order to port this great module to next Drupal version,

we've forked a new repo from current drupal git repo 8.x-1.x branch to github (https://github.com/ciandt-china-dev/workbench) to work on continuing porting this module to D8 version.

I took the work that has been done, cleaned things up a bit, and rolled and alpha release.
