Searching for date/time fields requires searching both for "time" and (once issue #2679140: All fields in Views UI match "date" or "update" search is fixed) "date". It would be better if all such fields or descriptions were reworded to include both the words "date" and "time" somewhere so that either word would match all date/time fields.

Some date/time fields contain "date" in the field name or description but not "time"
e.g.
Post date Taxonomy term The date the content related to a term was posted.

Some date/time fields contain "time" in the field name or description but not "date"
E.g.
Authored on Content The time that the node was created.
Changed Content The time that the node was last edited.
Authored on Content revision The time that the node was created.

Steps:
1. Go to /admin/structure/views/view/content
2. Within Field, Filter criteria, or Sort, click Add
3. In search field, type "date" or "time"
4. Press ENTER key

Actual results (once issue #2679140: All fields in Views UI match "date" or "update" search is fixed): Get some but not all of the date/time fields.
Expected results: Get all date/time fields.

("date" will also get fields or descriptions containing the word "updated", but that is unavoidable without giving unexpected results)

Drupal core is moving towards using a “main” branch. As an interim step, a new 11.x branch has been opened, as Drupal.org infrastructure cannot currently fully support a branch named main. New developments and disruptive changes should now be targeted for the 11.x branch.
