Am seeing this on a site when running update scripts after updating to the latest release:
Invalid argument supplied for foreach() media_gallery.install:1344
It seems to stem from the update script being ran a second time as a result of the changes in #2368433: update_hook should be only for 7.x-2.x.

This will skip the update if there are no 'media_gallery_media' fields in the site, which should be appropriate.
