I have a statuses block on a new content type I created. How could I reverse the normal display so that I have the status form at the bottom, and new status messages above it with the oldest status near the top of the page and the newest status near the bottom of the page? Similar to the display of a typical irc client, or iMessages, or google talk, etc?

You can reverse the order of the list of statuses by changing the relevant View.
