Noticed that Font Awesome icons do not work in IE when "Combine CSS files by using media queries" is checked. It doesn't throw any errors in the Debugger console in IE. Unchecking this checkbox and clearing the cache renders the icons properly.

Try 2.17 or the latest dev; I think this has been fixed.

Confirmed upgrading to 2.17 resolves the issues.
