If this is of interest, we could provide a patch, perhaps also incorporating the ability to change the limit, also. (And if the limit is set to zero for infinite, we would also disable display.)

A version that at least reduces the annoyance of this is in the Biblio Zotero module as a form_alter, see #2718377: Administrator can disable display of the Drupal UserID to Biblio AuthorID mapping change count
