A problem is that field groups can be created in the form display of a field collection. But, when you go to edit content where this field group supposed to be applied it is doesn't appear. Also, the fields added to the field group are sometimes being randomly reordered (has random weight).

Did you try the dev version? Because field collection is using inline entity form, and inline entity form support was added in the dev version #2663722: Field Groups are not rendered within Inline Entity Forms.

Hi zuuperman, I didn't. However thank you for the suggestion but I don't think we can afford to use dev version on current project. In any case I'm happy to know that this issue is solved and I hope in the nearest future will be available at least as release candidate. Thanks!

I'm using Field Group in manage display in a field collection but it's not adding a div in the theme output. I'm using the dev version of the module. When I use a field group with normal node fields it works ok.
