Hi,
First I have to be very clear about what I mean:
Today webform table has only nid as primary key. So every time a new revision is created for a node, the webform attached to that node doesn’t change or, if someone change the webform, it is changed for all revisions of that node!
I think it will be very interesting to have also vid in webform table and to be able to change webforms for different node revisions of a node, each revision of a node should have it's own webform.
Of course that dosen't mean if I change the webform (any component in a webform) I'll create a new node revision... but I'll be able to, but only in node edit page, checking new revision.
Where is necessary something like that: when you want to be able to view how a form was changed in time (to review the history of a form) and to view submissions for each of these versions of form. Each node revision will have it's own webform with its webform's submissions.
If someone dosen't use node revisions the module will work as it is working now, but webform will be linked with node revision vid not with node id. If someone use node revisions he may have different webforms for different revisions of same node.
I'm grateful for any support and guidance in completing this feature.
Thank you for your time,
Marcel

ChaseOnTheWebThis was requested in #1889390: Make webform nodes support revisions and a maintainer concluded there that this would be too complex.
