Whenever I generate content with devel, I receive a missing argument warning.

I manage to replicate this warning by creating a content type with an User Reference field type.
If the widget type is set to Autocomplete text field, there is no warning, but if is set to either Select list or Check boxes/radio buttons the warning appears.

After the content type is created, if the content is generated, the warning pops up.

Here's the Warning Message:

Is your User Reference field mandatory or optional?

I tried setting the user reference field to both required and unrequired.
Both settings triggers the error.
