So perhaps I am an idiot as this seems like such a simple request.

But I cannot figure out how to display a Poll I've created on the Front Page main content pane with articles.

I've done that in Drupal 7 using the Poll module and AdvPoll module.

The only way I could figure out how to display on the front page was by using the block available.

Hi JoshuaF
Yes, at the moment that is the only way to display a poll in a content, as you can also see in Help > Poll

Viewing polls
You can visit the Polls page to view all current polls, or alternately enable the Most recent poll block on the Blocks administration page. To vote in or view the results of a specific poll, you can click on the poll itself.

I don't understand what *with articles* means.

If you want to embed polls in articles, you can use the entity embed project: https://www.drupal.org/project/entity_embed

You can not have a view that lists articles *and* polls. Polls are a different entity type, it's not possible to have a view of articles and polls.

I have a website which sole purpose is to vote on a weekly basis.

In Drupal 7 with the Advanced Poll module I was able to create a new poll and have it show on the front page.

My main content for my site is voting/polls and I have very few articles. Displaying multiple active polls in the side block is not ideal since sometimes there are two polls of 18 choices.

I downloaded the Entity Embed module and the Embed module and found a youtube video on how to embed an entity.

Thanks,

Joshua

I have other questions/issues but I will post then as new issues.

Thanks,
