Release notes

The first -alpha release of Panelizer in Drupal 8!

There's still loads of work to do, but at the moment we support:

  • Using Panelizer to override output of Node view modes (and the infrastructure to support other entity types)
  • Panelizer defaults for each view mode and custom overrides per-entity
  • Integration with the Panels IPE, that allows saving as default, saving as custom and reverting to default

Most notably, we're currently missing admin UIs and only support the Panels IPE to edit both Panelizer defaults and custom overrides.

Look forward to more great releases to come!
