As we are working on content restructure, following content strategy recommendations, we'll be updating visual look and feel of Drupal.org #1133434: [META] Content Strategy for Drupal.org. We are planning to move towards a pattern based approach, where we have a set of well-designed reusable patterns throughout the site. We need a place to display those patterns, starting with the ones we have right now.
Implementation details
We'll create a 'Style guide' section (organic group) inside of Drupal.org section (https://www.drupal.org/drupalorg/). The section will use a special sub-theme, created for the pattern library specifically. Patterns will be added as html to the pages inside of the section.
Todos
- Create a 'Style guide' section (organic group), with Drupal.org section (https://www.drupal.org/drupalorg/) as a parent.
- Add markup to display patterns on pages inside of the section
- Deploy Bluesteel sub-theme (new theme, specifically for the pattern library display)
- Switch 'Style guide' section to use that theme

How can I help with the next step? How do I contribute that work back to you?
