Create a specialized user interface that will auto-generate child areas within a parent area. Example use case: generating beds within a field.
Simple example, given:
* A polygon of a large field that the child areas will go in
* A fixed child area width
* The angle at which the child areas should run
Use those to calculate and generate a bunch of sub-areas that fit within the parent geometry.
Let's have some fun with geometry! :-)

m.stentaWe will probably need GEOS for this. http://www.saintsjd.com/2014/06/05/howto-intsall-libgeos-with-php5-bindi...

m.stentaI have a proof of concept working. Just helper functions at this point. It still needs a UI for controlling it.
m.stentaGeneralized this to an "Area generator" (beds are just one possibility) - moved to Farm Area module.
m.stentaDone. Available at /farm/area/generate (requires that you enabled the new Farm Area Generator module).
m.stentaMoving old issues to the canonical farmOS project for easier searching. Apologies for email spam if anyone is following these. :-)
