Do you have any other additional modules installed? For multilingual?

Yes I'm using multilanguage tool 'cause the site is supporting 4 languages: 2 local ones (Dutch and French) and 2 foreigners: English and Italian

We just pushed a fix to the restaurant_menu module. Can you replace your current restaurant_menu module with the dev version and test please? https://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/restaurant_menu-7.x-1.x-dev.tar.gz

Excellent I did installed it and I tried all teh operations on which I got issues, included the one listed here for which I opened the ticket.

Now it works fine

before this patch

- creating and/or editing a node type Menu, there was the issue about the index #value
- it was not possible to upload pictures OR variations during the creation of the node. It have been mandatory to save the node first, then to re-edit to change what was needed. else you got error 500

Now everything works fine
