I'm not seeing this in stock OA, but my install is displaying the issue. When visiting user/uid/view (aka "Dashboard") my install returns Access Denied even for the current user. I have dsm(&account) the variable in oa_users_user_is_current_user within oa_users.module on my install it shows a 5 element array with user_view_access, _administerusersbyrole_check_access, 2, TRUE, FALSE. On stock OA, this same variable returns the entire user object for the profile page including the necessary uid. Anyone have hints for how I can track down what is causing this for my install?

Found the offending module, "Administer Users by Role" https://www.drupal.org/project/administerusersbyrole
