When I click the plus sign (+) in the menu bar to add content, discussion, forum or task, I get a huge list instead of what I want for that Section. This happens only when you are in a private group.
All features reverted to default and OA version is 7.x-2.52.

The problem (at least in my case) is unrelated to private or public spaces, but rather to the existence or not of a Files section. It also seems (from the first impression, meanwhile the + list seems to have gotten longer, so I only see the multiple "Add file" lines) that it's only the Add file which gets repeated.

gandhiano CreditAttribution: gandhiano as a volunteer and commentedThe error persists on 2.54, also after reverting oa_files.
It happens in any space with a Files section and it's an UI killer.
I was up to now unable to find what is leading to it since the upgrade to 2.50.

gandhiano CreditAttribution: gandhiano as a volunteer and commentedI was expecting that these duplicates were generated on-the-fly, but instead they were just there on the UI and DB.
I got confronted with thousands of command buttons on https://co-munity.net/admin/structure/command-buttons/manage/button
Went to the DB and deleted them manually (except one).
If it helps to trace the issue, there was a "proper" entry before the command button "Create Landing Page". After that one, it went havoc. The version where the problem was generated can probably be traced back.
In any case here is a fix for anyone facing similar problems.
