Doesn't redirect homepage with trailing slash

Hello!
Almost all urls with trailing slashes are redirected permanently (301 redirect) to the same urls without slashes, as it should be (with the relevant option enabled). But there is one unpleasant exeption - home page with trailing slash isn't redirected. Both forms - mysite.com and mysite.com/ give 200 response.
Tried dev version - the same problem.
Is there any way to fix this bug?
