Hi mates,
is there a definitive guide on how to migrate phpbb3 forum to drupal 7 forum (standard, not advanced).
I have read tons of pages, but no helps.

It seems also that activating forum module does not create the tables in the db....

You'll want to use the PHPBB to Drupal module. It's made for importing content from PHPBB to Drupal. I used it years ago, and it worked well. It's had a lot of updates since then, so I'm sure it works better now.
