My company's product, DeepSQL, could do it. It replaces InnoDB and works with MySQL.

Here's a case study: https://deepis.com/customer/gemservers-wordpress-hosting

I am using MongoDB as a ‘NoSQL’ type of database that can be used for my Drupal site. and MySQL database for back-end.

I know this is an OLD thread, I was curious what you have learned on this since 2016. How did it all work for you? Have you used this configuration with D8 and/or D9?
