Views 'export view' does not include the OpenLayers Map view style option base_map_layer.
Adding the option_definition method fixes this.

heykarthikwithumoving this to 'Needs Review', and the patch works fine.
@tom, we need to change the status of the issue to 'Needs Review', whenever we are adding patch, so the reviewers will review :)

nathan.simmonds CreditAttribution: nathan.simmonds commentedI ran into this issue and almost gave up when I stumbled upon this ticket in the queue. It's a serious issue since any views that uses an OL map display will stop working any time the feature is reset, such as every time something is deployed to Acquia, Pantheon, etc.
The patch still works fine, so success there. However it would be really useful if this just worked, rather than needing to patch the module. Is there are way to get this moving again so that others don't have the same frustration?
Happy to help if I can.
