The answer is 'maybe' but I am working on other Drupal things right now, so won't be able to look at this for a while. Do you have expertise with Feeds, or know someone else who could help?
Anyway, I've unpostponed this because as you say Feeds does appear to be stabilizing and the latest release is 8.x-3.0-alpha6 dated 27 Oct 2019.
