Large emails (900+ lines) sent through Mimemail with linked images, with the following settings always end up being encoded in base64 with images embedded instead of links to hosted image:

  • "Link images only" set
  • "E-mail format" set to "Full HTML"
  • "Mail System" set to "MimeMailSystem"

Drupal core 7.41

Any ideas how to change this behavior ?
