uploaded a ZIP file but I can't change its destination folder

I just imported a bunch of files successfully and when I went to edit them to specify the destination folder, the only ZIP file in my batch didn't display any Media Folder selection. I can edit the title, the public/private setting, the path alias but I don't have any option for Media Folder.

I know zip is not a default allowed extension so it's been added but still no media folder.

I'm thinking I may have missed something since it was quite the setup to get everything going the way I wanted but maybe it's a bug?

Any ideas?

Edit:
I fixed this by adding the proper MIME types to admin/structure/file-types/manage/document
I then deleted the file and re-uploaded it individually and I got to pick the folder and it's all good now.
