I'm a fan of using markdown: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markdown

It makes it easier to create lists easily, which display nicely as HTML when saved/viewed.

The Markdown Filter module (https://www.drupal.org/project/markdown) could easily be added to the Farm Format that we provide in this module. And it would just be an enhancement... not a requirement for anyone to know or use.

And: it already has a Drupal 8 release, so we don't have to worry about delaying #2361735: [META] Map out Drupal 8 / farmOS 8.x-2.x Dependencies.

Status: Active » Closed (fixed)

Done. Added the Markdown module to the distro, and to the Farm Fields module's Farm Format filter.

I'll also add it to the list of modules in the 8.x roadmap: #2361735: [META] Map out Drupal 8 / farmOS 8.x-2.x Dependencies

Moving old issues to the canonical farmOS project for easier searching. Apologies for email spam if anyone is following these. :-)
