I'm a fan of using markdown: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markdown
It makes it easier to create lists easily, which display nicely as HTML when saved/viewed.
The Markdown Filter module (https://www.drupal.org/project/markdown) could easily be added to the Farm Format that we provide in this module. And it would just be an enhancement... not a requirement for anyone to know or use.
And: it already has a Drupal 8 release, so we don't have to worry about delaying #2361735: [META] Map out Drupal 8 / farmOS 8.x-2.x Dependencies.

m.stentaDone. Added the Markdown module to the distro, and to the Farm Fields module's Farm Format filter.
I'll also add it to the list of modules in the 8.x roadmap: #2361735: [META] Map out Drupal 8 / farmOS 8.x-2.x Dependencies

m.stentaMoving old issues to the canonical farmOS project for easier searching. Apologies for email spam if anyone is following these. :-)
