In fact no Path nor Filename to Youtube Preview Image through Image Field in Content Type.
What I want is very simple (I thought)
1 - A youtube-image thumbnail WITH A LINK TO THE VIDEO!!! Either for Teasers as on pages.
In the content page the video thumbnail may be larger than on teaser pages (preferably adaptive to mobile size)
2 - If possible to open in a Lightbox (or Colorbox) that adapts to the size of the screen, instead of going to Youtube. (I did not even get to try this today)

For the 30st time I have lost hours trying to solve just the first problem, and again with no success.
I tried to describe all I tried (today) here:
http://riccardobarbieri.com/en/suffering-drupal/suffering-the-media-module
Although after too many tryouts on too many different places one looses track and it may not be fully complete.
The problem regards both Youtube Preview Images through Content Type -> Image Field as Images embedded in the content, although I didn't even had time to experiment on the latter. Maybe another weekend on that.

OK, finally and definitely discovered that the Media Module simply does not offer the simple option of Thumbnail + Link,
U only can get either:
- a static Youtube Preview Image (with NO link)
- or the video itself (that does not adapt to screensize -> mobile unfriendly)
- but NEVER a Youtube Preview Image WITH link,
you can have a link, but then the image is broken because it does not have a path nor a filename. Obviously the part of the code that should insert the path and the filename is broken, forgotten or lost.

And without a link, a lightbox or colorbox is not an option either, YES!!

So if you use videos in your Drupal site through the Media Module they are either:
A) too small for desktops or portables
B) too large for mobiles
C) a static picture that leads nowhere

Allright, downgrading the website's option and quality expectations again, to continue with the next Drupal problem: have the core Poll module work actually how it should with more than one language!

However, what Media Module is not capable of doing (and apparently not interested in resolving) can be achieved through the Video Embed Module
Unfortunately it is just a field, so you cannot use it inline, but if you really need to you could make a content type with several blocks of text with Video Embed fields in between.
