Option for data export missing from add menu in views editor

I installed views_data_export 7.x-3.0-beta9, went to views to add a data export view like the various tutorials say but the option is missing from my add menu. I have 50-60 different views and I randomly selected a handful of them. None give the option to add a data export. I then uninstalled and tried an older version (beta-6) simply because that is the version used in the tutorial I was watching. I am fairly new to Drupal and not sure where to start with something like this.
