During the Hackaton, that was part of the Drupal Days hosted in Bologna (Italy) last 5th of December 2015 (http://bologna2015.drupalday.it), me, cronos0 , rafuel92 and gik000 were engaged in porting a Drupal 8 compliant version of this module (here attached in .zip format).
