I know that Views data export have hardcoded limit of results for preview mode (20).

I faced with situation when pager settings for configured to show specific count of results (less the 20), for example: 1
But in preview I saw all 20 lines, first for header and other just duplicated. It confused me.

Applied a patch, that make views data export to respect pager if it less than 20.

If pages is set to smaller than 20 items per page, it will not encapsulate result by <pre>, so XML will not be readable because browser will read elements as a HTML.
