Hello,
I have an issue with SEO, the website is coming up in google after using this module.
When i search for "Freyr Solutions" the result title is "Global Regulatory Solutions and Services Company" then description is coming as per my requirement.
But when i search for just "Freyr" the same result title is coming as "Freyr eTMF". I have checked the site name it is just "Freyr".
Not sure how "Freyr eTMF" is coming in google search results, this same issue is showing for some other inner pages also. For some inner pages it is showing as "Page title | Freyr - Freyr eTMF", the thing is - Freyr eTMF is not requred.
Can you please look into this issue and help me out as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Paramesh.

DamienMcKennaHave you customized the page title values for any of the configurations under admin/config/search/metatags?
parameshrag CreditAttribution: parameshrag commentedNo, I have not done any customization in admin/config/search/metatags
Do i need to change the title code this to in tpl file "
print $head_title;
" to any?Comment #6
DamienMcKennaNo, you shouldn't be changing the page title via the template file.
Is the problem with what Google is showing, or what the web site itself is actually showing?
Do you have any other module installed that would interfere with the title, e.g. the Page Title module?
For the types of pages that have different titles to what you expect, what is generating those pages? Are they nodes, Views pages, Panels pages, etc?
parameshrag CreditAttribution: parameshrag commentedThe problem is with what google is showing.
No i have not installed any other modules related to title SEO.
For the home page used Panels and some of them nodes and views pages also.

DamienMcKennaHave you looked at the pages showing what you believe to be incorrect titles and compared what the actual HTML shows vs what Google shows?
For the node pages, what is being used to display those pages - standard templates, Panels or Panelizer, Display Suite, Views, etc? I'm not worried about individual blocks on the page, but what is actually controlling those pages.

parameshrag CreditAttribution: parameshrag commentedYes i have looked at those pages and showing what i want but showing different in google result.
For the node pages, used standard templates (from zen theme) and views.

DamienMcKennaDo the title values match any of the other meta tags, e.g. og:title, itemprop:name, etc?
parameshrag CreditAttribution: parameshrag commentedno i have not added any meta tags for og:title and, itemprop:name etc...

DamienMcKennaDid you have an old version of the site with that suffix? You might try updating the global default page title to include the site name, because it seems you removed it and Google seems to be adding one on again.
I think it ultimately boils down to Google doing what it wants to, see https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35624?hl=en for more details.
