First of all my humble thanks for this tool (I am staring to test the module and it gives very important features to the batch process).
I want to implement the module Background Batch progressively because there are several important process based on batch (using Feeds) on several Drupal instances, then I think that is wise to allow to the module to work only with an/some specific case/s meanwhile the module is fully implemented for all the cases.
I must to say that I found an issue that gives a direction https://www.drupal.org/node/2059899 (https://www.drupal.org/node/2059899) but if I understand well the way suggested is to hack the core. I wonder if there are a process based on hooks or a different approach than hacking the core that can be used to achieve this.
Thanks in advance.

Elijah LynnWhat you are asking for is the same as what #2059899: Blacklisting with background batch is asking. A way to use only on certain batches. Marking this as a duplicate to focus the discussion discuss there. It would be good if you posted your issue summary as a comment there.
