After creating a new content type, can't hide the title field. This module only hides normal titles.

fizk CreditAttribution: fizk commentedTry to go to the configuration page and add your new content type to the list of content types that should have their title excluded.
drusite CreditAttribution: drusite commentedIt has already been done (User defined nodes->Full content, Teaser, Node form, Revision) and 'Exclude node title' was ticked, too.
drusite CreditAttribution: drusite commented'Exclude title from display' to be precise. It just doesn't work but if the Field title is switched off, the module hides a normal Title. I'll check all the modules one more time to be sure.
drusite CreditAttribution: drusite commentedIt was noticed that on the page Panels the title doesn't disappear. It only disappears on the node.

onejam CreditAttribution: onejam commentedI'm having the same issue, it does not seem to work for us either.
What we want was to allow user to exclude title on page node type (which is Basic page). So in the config, we set the following:
Under Basic page -
in the dropdown list, we selected - user defined nodes.
and left everything under - Exclude from: unchecked
In the Basic Page content type node form, we see a checkbox for 'exclude node title'. If we check this box and save, the title still appears?
Are we doing something wrong?
We don't want to exclude every node titles on the content type but allow user to decide which title should be excluded but it is not working this way? perhaps we are missing something?
