Is there a way to start with a random slide? I don't really care if the slides after that are random or sequential starting with that slide. Thanks!!

1) Go to the module configurations(admin/config/media/flexslider) & edit "default" settings.
2) Check "Randomize Slide Order" under "General Slideshow and Animation Settings" & save the settings.

This will randomize the slides.
