I've never seen this happen before, and I've used this module many times before. I installed and enabled Editable Views, but when I am building a view, the Editable Table is not an option. Am I missing something? Has anyone seen this before?

Dah! I realized CCK wasn't enabled, after doing so, it works as normal.

Sorry that I've had to re-open this issue. But...I'm having the exact same problem, Editable Table format display is not showing up as an option in my view. Ctools is installed and all its submodules are enabled.

I installed and enabled the 2015-Jul-29, 7.x-1.x-dev version of this module.

This is my first time I've tried to use this module, so, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Update:
I've isolated the problem to my local machine. When I install the module on my development site, the Editable Table format display is available as an option. So, I'm concluding that there is a conflict with another module installed on the local machine. I'm closing this issue and marking as fixed, again.

Funniest thing happened, just half an hour ago i ran an update check, and just today the module "content taxonomy" was updated, conflict fixed, now testing the module actually
