I have Profile installed and have been trying to use it in the building of a community type of site. I did the following:

Added another Profile Type
Selected the "Allow multiple profiles" option
Selected the "Include in user registration form" option
Added a number of fields to the Profile Type

While still logged in as administrator, I select a User to edit his/her Profile. The fields show in the respective Profile and I can add/edit data. I then save the changes using the "Save and make active" menu button. When I edit the Profile again, none of the changes were retained.

The permissions give the Administrator the right to edit any User Profile. Did I overlook something? Or is this functionality not available yet?

No, the module is not usable yet.
