Is there a built-in way to send a newsletter node automatically when published? Looks like I can also do it by tweaking the simplenews field's value in a custom module, but would appreciate a quick pointer if I'm reinventing the wheel. Thanks!

Based on progression of #2625412: Cannot send on publish if node is new, pretty sure there is not a way to do this yet.
