I am using rules to create a new node (case), the node is created fine, but when I try to go in to the node I get error messages. I am going to assume that the case information section does not get any data when the node is created.

So the question is how to do I set the data value of the Case Information section using rules?

Good question. I've recently taken over this module, and I think I've seen some code this effect, but I'm a bit uncertain. I'll look into it and get back to you.

Turns out that I was incorrect. Rules event support has been built in and support for standard drupal actions has also been built in, but I don't currently know a way to get Rules to invoke custom drupal actions. IT is probably technically possible, but I doubt without custom code, which I don't have time to develop right now. Patches are welcome of course.
