Base theme for minimalist development

Hi,

I want to develop a minimalist D8 theme and I would like to know which base theme should I use. Any suggestion?

Hi Ricardo,
The two main core themes to use as base themes are:
Stark: Uses only default core templates with minimal or no styling.
Classey: Provide many of it's own templates with classes for easier styling and adds it's own styles.

Probably depends how minimalist you want to go.

What do you mean by "minimalist"? Minimal design aesthetic or minimal code to deal with?

If you want minimal code, try Stark or Classy as mentioned, if you want minimal design aesthetic try Adaptivetheme, this is very easy to work with and gives a nice strait forward semi-flat UI.
