# Summary

This is a highly flexible and easily extendable filter module to embed any type of video in your site using a simple token. Other modules can add video sites/formats (called codecs) using an easy plugin architecture.

Port status: Currently in alpha, unfortunately no proper roadmap.

Thanks to minnur's work, there's now an alpha version available for sites to try out. All bugs and feature requests should be handled as separate issues.

Status: Closed (fixed) » Needs review

For the purposes of this queue, "fixed" == has a stable release. Bumping down to "needs review" (alpha/beta).

@webchick are you sure it make sense to keep this open ? Since all the new issues are in the module's issue queue and people won't come here to report issues

Yep. The purpose of this queue is to provide an overall view of the readiness state of projects people care about. It's fine if this issue doesn't get updated until there's a stable release.

Don't consider it ok for this issue to be untouched till Stable release. Proper release management would be to keep this issue updated, not necessarily by the maintainer, with developments in its project. In addition, the roadmap should include everything from start to finish. Finish being the release of Stable version of the module. This issue is not for reporting on usage of the module, use its own issue queue for that. Or as sometimes mentioned the alternate system used for development: GitHub.
Obviously, those issues can be referred to here when they matter for the roadmap. When you do, use the [#issue@] format.
